What about people bitching about bitching about bitching?

There's nothing about today but joy. Best game in a loooong time and we have hope we'd never have had with Philbin. Just a day to enjoy.

When they got 38, I was wondering where the post was going to be that we didn't score 40. Some people will never be happy.

It's on to Houston and the issues that Hopkins and Watt present. Let's go Phins

I'm not a fan of shaming people for their opinions. OTOH, I don't know how anyone could be unhappy with the result of today's game.

Tannehill may have been picked twice, but he also had two TDs. He ended the day with a SEVENTY-FIVE POINT NINE completion percentage (22/29). And he played loose and confident for the first time since....ever. Clearly, Campbell cut loose all the restrictions on his franchise QB and on his OC, as Lazor called a great game, with plays we haven't seen in years except when we watch other teams.

Campbell also clearly had the effect of loosening up the rest of the team, and they responded by playing like a squad with nothing to lose, instead of one scared to make mistakes and playing not to lose.

I'm not certain that Campbell is the long-term answer at HC; no one is. The position of HC in the NFL is unlike the same position at any other level, including the elite CFB programs. An NFL HC is the on-field CEO; he MUST have strong executive ability and let his staff run their units, executing the HC's vision for the team. He's not a do-er, he's skilled at getting things done through others. Time will tell if Campbell has the intellect and the ability to do what's required.

I will say that he is exactly what this team need right now.

Who's been bitching? This is the most fun we've had watching our team in a long time. Not as much fun as an Ozzy concert but pretty close. Let's do it again next week.

Ozzy rules

This was the first time since Tannehill came into the league (2012) that we won a game in which our QB threw 2 picks or more. We were 0-13 before that. The only other teams since 2012 with 0 wins in games when their QBs throw 2 INTs or more are the 49ers (0-6) and the Redskins (0-14). The Seahawks are best at that since Wilson is their QB (3-1) followed by the Broncos (8-4), Bengals (6-7-1) and Lions (6-8).

Interesting that Manning and Tannehill have the same amount of games since the start of the 2012 season with 2 or more INTs.

How good did this feel for coach Campbell.

Love the guy and his attitude and great our team responded

So long as I don't get in trouble for saying that to someone else sure.

Not talking about any individual posters...

Dammit!

Already used my POTD. :bobdole:

I just hope this doesn't become like thephins, where the main topic of conversation is always other members' opinions instead of the team we're all here to discuss.

I already see several threads on page one, calling other people out. That's the beginning of a sour taste that only gets worse with time.

We have plenty to discuss about our team without resorting to bashing.
