So many of you have reached out with prayers, kind wishes, and support for my 91 year old mother, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer three weeks ago. On Tuesday night at 10:01 pm EST, she passed away, with my sister and I at her side. For the last 8 days, she received hospice care at an AMAZING end of life care home. They treated her with such love and kindness and made her comfort their number one priority.

I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who prayed for Mom and gave me words of support. I'm grateful. ❤️

Sorry to hear about your loss. Try to dwell on the 91 years she graced the earth and how many people she impacted during the time she was here.

I hope you can remember the best things about your mom. Hold those memories like treasure. There is no one like Mom and once gone is irreplaceable, because the place she keep in our hearts is like solid gold. It shines, it glows and no one will ever know that special bond like mom and son.

Sucks to lose a love one, 91 years is a pretty full life. Hope your family rebounds from this quickly. I'm going through a similar situation with my dad's stage 4 cancer.
I'm so, so sorry to hear about your dad's battle with cancer. I'll keep him and your family in my prayers. #****cancet

Sorry for your loss but its great that you and your sis were able to be there for her and that she recieved wonderful end life treatment. My job kind of presses us to make an annual $1000 donation to charity. After my mother in laws span in hospice before she passed away, and then my moms hospice care before she passed away I switched that over to my annual charity.

I'm sure there are a few outliners but most of those workers are so special and the 9 days they spent with your mom I'm sure they loved her and treated her like it was their own mom.

Hope you are able to get some quality grieving time in. I know everything will be busy for awhile, but make sure you dont suppress the grieving process while trying to get everything back in order.

So sorry for your loss. I just lost my father in law to stage 4 lung cancer and can’t imagine losing my mother. Just have to remember the good times u shared and the amazing life she lived. Pass her stories down and they shall live on forever.

I’m so sorry to hear that HP. I’m visiting my mom as we speak. Best wishes and prayers.

So sorry for your loss brother. I can relate in a few ways. Lost my dad when he was almost 90. My mom is in a nursing home and she's in good health but she's 87 and I visit her at least 3 to 4 days a week. And many people here know that my wife has battled cancer in the past. Still praying for you and your family!
