I came across this while scanning any Chambers rumors... This isn't much but it's something... As much as I would love for him to catch passes ANYWHERE else next season, his CONTRACT vs. PRODUCTION probably means Chambers will be a Dolphin in 2007... :fire:

"Chris Chambers future in Miami is in doubt. My source
tells me he is available for the right price. Some
teams are scared off by his propensity to drop passes
(he was 2nd in the NFL behind Terrell Owens)."

Even without prior knowledge of the situation with Chambers, I highly doubt Chambers leaves Miami. Who else would Miami go for? Moss is detrimental, Porter is detrimental, Jacksonville will lock up Donte Stallworth at the beginning of free agency.

Ginn Jr. Would be a great fit in Miami. He has great speed and is the deep speedy threat that Miami is lacking.

If, and that's If Chambers does get traded, Donte Stallworth comes to mind being that Randy Mueller drafted him. Stallworth would bring speed, albeit injury-prone speed to our WR corps.

UMM.. Jacksonville is not gonna lock Stallworth up.. i bet he signs with Miami.

It all really depends on Cams plan and where he fits into it. Im sure we could get something for CC on the trade market, it just depends if he is more valuable to Cam staying or going.

how quickly we forget about chambers in 2005.

jerry rice wouldve had only 4 td's with emo boy throwing the ball to him.

We wouldn't get much for Chambers. IF we are lucky we may get a 3rd. I don' we should trade Chambers anyway. I think Cam will involve him in the offense next year, whether it be CPepp or Lemon tossing him the ball.

Well, we were SB champs in 72 & 73, what are we talking about? GO DOLPHINS!! :dolphins:

All i know is i think chambers gets bombed on alot on here he definatly dosnt deserve what we are paying him but he is by far are most talented reciever so he prob is not going anywere. i am a huge fan of his and think CAm is gonna turn both him and this offense around.

This source is so solid that they didn't even get the stat right. According to iwon, TO, Darrel Jackson, Troy Williamson, Steve Smith, Reggie Brown (that's just the NFC) and Andre Johnson had more drops. The players with the same amount were Braylon Edwards, McMike :boohoo: , Randy Moss, Reggie Wayne, Reggie Williams, Reggie Bush, Donald Driver, Bubba Franks, Joey Galloway, and Devery Henderson.

You sure that wasn't a finheaven member posting incognito over there?

What a horrible site, I just skimmed it and it is the worst rumor site ever, looks to be the writer's speculation not any credible rumors. Right above the Chambers paragraph it says we are in the Jeff Garcia sweepstakes. Wha? Mr. I need the right system to throw in Garcia. I think Cam would be more confident in Lemon then going after a 37 year old re-re-re-tread.
