I think the only way Daunte will ever "tear it up" again is if he has a Moss-like receiver...Calvin Johnson would've been perfect for you guys.

I think your QB history since Marino shows that you almost can't give away too much if it means properly grooming a QBOTF.

You are correct...people to need to stop bitching, but alas, that is the plague and curse of DolPhans...we are without a doubt, the most fickle fans in the NFL.

If Trent Green is close to what he was in the past, Miami is now a legitmate contender for the AFC East with the Jets and Patsies.

We have the best overall defense in the division, if Green gives the offense the ability to average 20+ a game, we will be right in the middle of it.

Im my mind the Patsies have made some desperate moves, including bringing in the ultimate cancer (Randy Moss), the chemistry will be disturbed there.

A 4th round pick isn't even on the first day of the draft! Other than say, Zach Thomas, how many picks 4th round picks or later can you say made an impact on the Miami Dolphins in the last 10 years?

Oh and by the way, I am a Culpepper fan, not a Green fan, so don't think about any 'homer' bias. But this ridicule on the quality of the pick, when it is a SECOND DAY PICK, is crazy.

Very nicely said. I remember I hated the idea of getting Culpepper last year. However once we did it took me all of one day before I started getting my roll on and talking about him taking us to the bowl. You Culpepper freaks need to just suck it up and get on the TrentWagon. I welcome all of you. You dont need to say you were wrong or anything, just get behind Trent and the phins. And forget about Culpepper already. I on the other hand will be taking a shot or two at Culpepper every now and then throughout the season. So get over it. Just take it. My thoughts exactly. Especially in regards to the 20 points a game and that giving us an excellent chance to be right in the mix. I think if our line gets better as the season goes on we can score in bunches with Greens play action ability and 3 good receivers.

We have been giving up too much in the past for several prospects. Now we gave up too much for a tutor for 1-2 years for our next future QB. Seems we got taken again.

If it works out in the long run, its all good. But we held the cards here, and we caved IMO. I understand why you are happy though.

I'm getting more and more amazed at how so many jumped for joy giving up a 2nd for Daunte, and now I'm seeing such disappointment giving up a 4th (and it will be a 4th) for Green? This place gets weirder by the year.
