This year will mark my 15th Draft day Gala. I usually have between 4-8 guys (no wives or children), Beer/****tails and Grub. So here's what I need to know. Where are you from how many people do you have and what type of Grub do you serve. I'd like a little help- i'm running out of ideas.

A buddy of mine had a couple of Hooters girls serving drinks (not in uniform) for his draft party. He know a couple of the girls and asked them if they would help him host a party. From what I hear, the girls were pretty down with it and everybody had a good time. (I myself did not attend, because I was at work.)

im in los angeles. I usually have about four or five guys over. this year im having about 10 -15 male and females. im serving pizza and heineken. everyone wears there teams jersey and since I live in los angeles I get a bunch of different jerseys. I only have people over for the first day of the draft.

My draft day party consists of me on my couch by myself. My wife takes the kids to her mom's for the weekend. I get some wings, usually a cheesesteak, and a few adult beverages. That's it. I don't want anyone to call, I don't want anyone to bother me. One year, I parked my car in the garage so my neighbor would not know I was home.
How many drafts is this for me, that's a great question. I don't want to age myself, but I remember when the draft was held on the third Tuesday in April every year. I used to fake being sick when I was in high school so I could watch it on some new channel called ESPN.

The past few years I've had a few of my buddies from Cincinnati come up to UD (usually between 8-12 of us). We usually have chips & salsa, Skyline dip (our famous chili made into a chip dip - excellent stuff) wings, (brats & mets if it's nice outside, which it wasn't the past two years) and plenty of cold ones.

yeah i plan on having my first draft party..

I'm just gonna make a bunch of appetizers.
Buffalo Chicken and Blue Chees Dip, served with chips..
i'll make fries and onion rings, and then I'm gonna grill Italian sausage with peppers and onions and put it on hoagie rolls..

Tell people to bring beer and liquor..

I got about 6 people already down, but looking for about 10 different teams at the draft party..
Should be alot of fun, i went to one when we drafted ginn, the party got SOUR after the 9th pick.

Me and girlfriend have about 6-8 people over, Crawfish boil here in Louisiana, and Each of us pick a college conference and has to do a shot when someone is drafted from that conference. It makes for a fun second round!

ps I had the SEC last year!

I have 8 to 10 people over. I am on this new kick on making all types of mini burgers. You can go to Costco and buy a boat load of hamburger and season the patty's different.

Makes for a good snack, then once the middle of the second round starts we all head on the bikes to the beach for v-ball, wiffle ball and horseshoes.

Me and a bunch of my friends take turns hosting every year. This year its my turn. 7-8 guys will be over. Two T.V.'s set up in my living room. The main TV for the draft and the secondary TV for Madden. Everybody is bringing stuff (Food, Beer, drinks, etc). Thats how we do it every year. No chicks in sight. Just a bunch of guys letting it all hang out.

lol....

I have a friend who lives about 8 hours away come for the weekend. (A jets fan) I give my wife and daughter cash to go out and shop and we get subs, wings, nachos, etc. for Saturday and Chinese for Sunday. Everyone in my house knows not to bother me during draft weekend as well as during Dolphin games. I set the tone in my house years ago.

I usually attend one of my friends, and then get back on here to make fun of people that freak the F out on our selections.

I watch in the comfort of my own home with some snacks and a cold drink

You have your staples: chicken wings, chips and salsa/queso, sodas and/or beer

Sliders are the latest craze but I don't know if you want to waste your time making those things...unless you call up Billy Mays for his Big City Slider Station

Nuts (peanuts, cashews) are a good thing too. It gives you natural energy as you're dragging through the first 24 picks of the draft.

In Rochester, NY

a couple of friends come over, usually serve beer and grill chicken wings and make a bbq/burbon sauce and then grill some pizzas - having 2 grills is nice
