How mad will you be if Frerotte still plays this Sunday even though his finger is still hurt??? Or how pissed off will you be if Sage does play and plays good or great but Frerotte still starts the following week??? I for one am baffled at the possiblity that Frerotte may still play this Sunday. I wanted Sage to start before Frerotte even got hurt, so I guess if he's hurt and Saban still plays him then there's no hope for Sage at all.

i think the only reason Gus has been starting, is because your OC really likes him.

i also think, saban will take control very soon. who knows what will happen then.

Saban probably wants to keep Cleveland guessing. The decision on the starting QB has already been decided. If Gus's finger is swollen, then playing in the cold in Cleveland is not going to help at all. I don't see Gus starting with that finger.

I will be p!ssed in both scenarios. We know that Gus ain't the guy. Our future and his aren't in alignment. We DON'T know if Sage is the guy or not. Why not try to figure that out? If then he isn't the guy after a few games, I'd like to see Lemon get a shot.

Wouldn't it be refreshing to go into the offseason KNOWING what we have in all three Qb's? Then Saban can steer the ship accordingly.

If we aren't going to the playoffs then we might as well get all our questions answered.

Of course we could go to the playoff's with Sage.............logically.

that's not the point, I completely understand what you're saying and I was thinking the same thing, but IF Frerotte does wind up starting..........

I do not mind if sage sucks it up big because at least we will know that he cannot be an option for us plain and simple! heck why not give a start to lemon at the end of the season to see what he can do

or even Brock Berlin???

and then next year I would foresee : a Qb drafted in the 4th ad a good FA pickup (boller Carr Harrington or whoever saban decides is a good option)

we need a new quarterback and a backup, they both suck! Im so tired of us having to settle for these second rate losers. Next year I hope we start fresh with some real talent.

Either way Frerotte with a swollen finger or Sage starting they will run the ball because the weather and we will win this game. I usually never say were going to win or guarantee a victory but I feel we are going to run the ball effectively and come away with an easy win even though Miami fans will be shocked when Clevelands offense has a decent game. I like how Gus is hurt because that means we will rely on the run regardless of him starting or not. :)

With Hop on the bus Gus finger hurting, it' the PERFECT time to see what Sage can do! Why not? Besides, if our OC really has a clue, Sage only needs to throw the ball 15-20 times. Everthing else is RUN,RUN,RUN!

did u just say KYLE BOLLER!wow dont even mention that guys name as a fa pickup for us.I'd rather have gus then boller.I live in baltimore i see his games he is the worst QB ive ever seen.

I think if sage doesnt get a shot sunday its a bunch of bs.then you know that linehan is controlling saban if gus starts.i think it would be better to see lemon get a shot in a few weeks since he knows our playbook by now.

He doesn't pass well with healthy fingers, how will he do with an index finger sprained? Raither see the team go with Sage.

Nick Saban's Quote of the Day from the Orlando Sentinel (11-18-05)

"Most teams that are good in the red area can run the ball." Saban said. "we have not been as effective as we need to be in making good choices and decisions on some passes. It gets more difficult to throw because the field shrinks".

How pissed will you be when Sage leads us to the brink of the playoffs only to miss it by one game?

8-8 might take the division with the right tie breakers.
the only real tough games the fins would have to win are agenst the Pats and Bills. If you beat the teams you should beat, and beat the pats and bills, your sitting at 8-8.
