defense, defense, defense, defense and a RB

replacements for:

Gibril

JT and Porter

ILB

Ferguson

Ricky

No WR? Did you not notice our inability to go vertical in our passing game today and all year? we need playmakers at the following positions to really compete: #1WR, FS, ILB, OLB and TE

definitely with you on the bandwagon to replace the Gerbil. In fact I take the best talent at either FS or wr with our #1. Drooling over taylor mays..... 230 4.28. Yikes. Would require trading up which is highly unlikely.

RB? Are you serious, by far our strongest position, you don't rush for over 2000 yards on the season and go get a RB, dumb! We need a big time WR or TE, Nose Tackle, ILB, and Safety and we will be fine. You guys over-react way too much. We played horrible in the first half and then showed some guts in the second, our team will be fine next year.

defense, defense, defense, defense and a RB

replacements for:

Gibril -Agreed

JT and Porter - Agreed

ILB - Agreed

Ferguson - Keep as a rotational player if fully recovered

Ricky - Keep for his final year in the league, he's the best back we have

Plus....

Lose...Chandra Chowder, Tobor,
& Akin Ayodele...and Get a new Defensive Coord too!!!

Draft:
#1 WR...DT, DE/LB's, S, O-Line & TE

Free Agency
WR, DE/LB's, O & D Line, S

I know....not too much to ask, but we still have a loooong way to go here. :callme:

Holes effing everywhere.

Maybe we should look at another option QB, just in case PW gets hurt.

I agree that we need help on offense

but its not my call

this is a forecast NOT a wishlist

I think we do need a running back. Three out of five are injured, and the two left are the two I could care less about.

Even if Ronnie is re-signed, it is tough to say how he will look going forward. Cobbs doesn't strike me as a feature back. Ricky has said publicly he will be done after the 2010 season.

Going into the 2011 season knowing that we HAVE to hit on a quality running back out of the draft is not an enviable position to be in. I wouldn't be surprised if they go for one now. Especially considering how offensive and defensive physicality is key to how this regime envisions itself.

...Having said that, I also agree that we need to specifically upgrade in all the other positions you noted. It will be interesting to see how the FO prioritizes. I think it will just depend on our draft position and who falls to them when their picks come around.

I could see us going NT, WR, LB, TE, or S in the first round. But, come the 2nd and 3rd rounds, if he is available, others on this board have convinced me that Anthony Dixon out of Miss St. would be an awesome fit for this team if he slid to us.

Taylor Mays ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! he is the most OVERATED safety prospect in years ... the kid can't cover and misses quite a few tackles, because he goes for the big hit instead of wrapping up ... Miami needs a FS that can actually cover ... BIG mistake if BP and CO. draft Mays ...

I wouldn't reach for one but if a stud fell to us I would be elated
