He is a young QB that I think will do well with alot of talent around him. I see him doing what Plummer did with another team, but not as sucessful as Plummer. He could be a backup option for us if we don't get Brees, Culpeppers or McNair.

I agree, I would much rather have McCown than the quarterbacks on our roster. I think the kid has some potential.

Getting a slight upgrade (which I still doubt McCown is any better than Frerottte (at this point in his career)) over Gus isn't going to get us over the top.
