Lets all look at this realistically for once. I too got caught up in the hype, but we are not yet a serious playoff team. Can we make the playoffs? Yes. Are we a serious playoff team? No way. We all watch football, so we all know it take a very good offensive line to be champions. We are not even close on this front. We picked up guys no one else wanted who are underachievers. I am sick of hearing it is all Dauntas fault. Yes he is struggling at time but he has no protection. I feel we are a year away from building this line. If I am wrong then answer this tell me one offensive line man we have that is a stud and back it up with facts not opinions. Please don’t blame injuries either the line wasn’t that good with the players that got hurt.

I'm placing our offensive woes on both the OL / Culpepper.....

I was at the game on Sunday, and as bad as the OL looked, Culpepper made them look even worse. Four seconds is enough time for any QB with half a brain to make a decision, and I can't blame the OL when he has that much time to scan the field. Bottom Line : Our OL can certainly improve, but Culepper takes too many sacks as well....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

Well I don't know about stud but Rex Hadnot is extremely solid. I went to see the Phins play Carolina in the preseason and Hadnot was an anchor. No one got past him, he was a wall and that is one of the best front 4's in football. I paid special attention to the line and their blocking and as soon as Hadnot snapped the ball he had engaged the lineman and had him blocked. Other than him we aren't very good at all. Carey did well in the run game but had lapses in the pass blocking. I can't remember who play RG in that game but he was terrible in both run and pass blocking, Jeno James did OK but had lapses in both run and pass blocking and L.J. Shelton had difficulty with run blocking and one specific move on the pass rush. He had trouble against the swim move, mostly to the outside in that game. He did fine against the bull rush but that swim move had him all messed up.

I agree, our OL is way short of a playoff calibur OL. We're a year away, and Saban had better draft OL heavy next draft, like the Jets did this year.

We definitely need O-Line upgrades, but Culpepper has to play smarter as well. Throwing the stupid ball away once in a while is not a sin. It is better than taking another 14 yard sack. Hit your hot reads ocassionally. It is the qb's job to make defenses pay for blitzing.

I am not disputing Pep has a major role to play in the teams disappointing start. I was not at the game but feel I had a better view from the television then someone who was at the game. The Ol stunk and I don't care who you put behind it Marino,Montana, or Brady they would have stunk to. Does the line know how to pick up a blitz. One more thing are new offensive corrdinator has not impressed me ethier.

Lets just hope it gets sorted and quick. The O-Line is where i would start. Trust me if the O-Line doesnt improve then Culpeppers confidence is going to sky dive. We have seen it with Feeley when the oppositions defense took it in turn to knock the crud out of Feeley. We all remember the now legendary thread with the O-Line that got a newspaper mention with 5 pics of our OLine, a revolving door, clown punchbag etc etc etc. Just get the O-Line sorted please Mr Houck!
