i remember him also very well. All my sports and music heros passing just make me feel even more geezerish. But...geezer i am and unfortunately more will pass. I still havnt gotten over charlie watts and coach shula!!

It won't be long before there's no one left to pop the corks on the 72 season

yeah still a little ways to go, but not getting any younger, i checked on wiki and we still have like 34 poppin bottles every year

I did not know he played for the Dolphins until today. I was 3 years old when he was on the team.

Cut from the Broncos for no reason after breaking rookie QB records there.

Glad he was able to at least earn a living in the league.
 
A name I haven't heard in awhile.........good player on a great team! RIP
 
Such a great name, perfect for a hero in a Western, "The name's Briscoe Ma"am, Marlin Briscoe".
