You do not want to know my thoughts on this:

That's what players do when nobody wants them anymore. We gave him a chance to reclaim his broken career … and he wasn't able to do it. Everyone noticed. Well, everyone INSIDE the NFL, noticed. Those media types like Rich Eisen, etc. thought that Tannehill should have had a better 2016 season because he had a good TE in Julius Thomas … and that the current TE, Gesicki, is a downgrade in talent. I can't wait until we become consistent winners and those knobs actually start watching our games and realizing that we have talent. OK, so the winning is the best part of that … but the national media realizing we have talent is a bonus too.

Joins Cris Carter and Thurman Thomas on an illustrious list of guys who got their final paycheck in Miami despite probably knowing they were done. I'm sure @Awsi Dooger could think of a few more (Csonka the second time around?). We should start our own special Ring of Retirement for them all.

Csonka put up 800 plus yards and 12 TDs and Miami made the playoffs when he came back for his final season. That was a good signing.

Tyson Clabo

Mario Williams

Arian Foster

Jay Cutler

Just off the top of my head. I could probably come up with 50 more if I cared enough to research it.

He is a disgrace to Nat Moore’s number.

The notion that players "own" their numbers forever after is a disgrace to common sense and to how many numbers there are between zero and 100. Only an infant could believe that it's an insult to Dan Marino for someone else to wear 13, as a for example. There's only one Dan Marino. Some other dipshit wearing that number doesn't change that.
