The former OU tight end’s soft hands and agility shocked no one at the school’s pro day. What most want to know is whether Andrews — a lumbering 6-foot-5, 256-pound draft hopeful — can administer effective blocks at the next level.
He won the 2017 Mackey Award by proving himself as the nation’s top tight end, despite lining up at slot receiver more often than not, and playing in a Big 12 conference that, right or wrong, is often criticized as being too soft.
