Former Pats LB Gary Guyton expected to visiting Fins soon

Great coverage linebacker, would be a good pickup.

Not better than them. But a good backup for either one, and a guy who could end up starting if necessary.
 
I wonder if this kid has ever been given the chance to try his hand at pass rushing. Dolphins really need another speed rusher if Wake gets injured.

He's definitely not a pass rusher. He's an underrated cover guy.
 
Well we need linebackers who are good in pass coverage. If Guyton is that guy then we need him here!!!! And yes we need more passrushers too
 
Guyton's numbers from the combine in 2008:

6'2" 245
4.47 in the 40 (best among linebackers)
36 1/2" vertical jump (best among linebackers)
10'6" broad jump (best among linebackers)
only 15 reps on the bench press which is a bit of a concern.

This guy was an undrafted FA OLB in 2008 that I really wanted the tri-fecta to sign. When he was finally signed by bthe PATsIES, I was so pissed. Now we are going to be throwing millions at him.
