Former Players Announcing Picks Is Boring

I have to disagree bro. I am glad that Dwight Stephenson will be representing the team. Better than seeing Goofell up there and getting booed.
 
Anything to get Goodell's face off my screen, but the ads and drawn out lack of content have made the draft frickin unwatchable.
 
It is a bit boring but it was worth it to see Jim Kelly and for him to get his standing O.
 
totally disagree! dwight stephenson is the best center to ever play the game and one of the best dolphin players ...its always great to see him. you probably never were fortunate enough to watch him play.

He still goes up and gets booed though. I enjoy seeing him get bood so that part is fine with me. I just find the introducing the player slows things down. Maybe they should just flash the name and year / credentials on the screen while they announce it.
But then Kelly took the podium. I want to be clear. I am far from a Jim Kelly fan, but since he got sick you cannot help but to put football aside and to pull for him in the much more important game of life. Classy move by the Chicago fans to give him that warm reception and standing ovation when he took the podium.
 
Because it was exciting while Goodell was announcing them?
 
I actually like the old time players announcing picks. While I hate the Jets.....Emerson Boozer is a player I used to watch when I was a kid. The Jim Kelly moment was awesome and Dwight Stephenson is one of my favorite Fins of all time. I thought Ickey Woods did a great job.

Although, I will say that the young girl who was battling cancer who gave the Bears pick....might have been the best of the night!
