Former Rams linebacker coach hired

John Pagano would have been a better choice. And why haven't we hired Jim Tomsula to coach the DL?

At least we hired from a solid defense. I'd imagine their LBs performed pretty well

The Miami Dolphins are hiring veteran linebackers coach Frank Bush as assistant head coach/linebackers coach.

Bush has spent 24 seasons in the NFL, the last three as linebackers coach for the Los Angeles Rams.

Bush has also coached linebackers for the Tennessee Titans, was defensive coordinator of the Houston Texans, assistant head coach linebackers coach for the Arizona Cardinals.

The hire of Bush was earlier reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

After starting his coaching career with the Houston Oilers in 1992, Bush also coached with the Denver Broncos.

Among the players Bush has personally coached are James Laurinaitis, Alec Ogletree, Akeem Ayers, Brian Cushing, Karlos Dansby and Bill Romanowski.

Bush replaces the departed Vance Joseph on the coaching staff. The Miami Dolphins have promoted Matt Burke to defensive coordinator.

Se we got the "associate" and the "assistant" head coach titles.

Well, he's been around. Many people on this board didn't want anyone that was new so 24 years, he must know what he's doing. Hoping it works out.

Ozzy rules!!

This will be Frank Bush's 31st season as a scout or coach. Impressive.

Well this would qualify as the grey beard coach Hayden wanted us to have on the staff in the first yr.

Frank Bush is a coach on & off field. Lucky to have been able to pick his brain for 2 seasons. Happy he found a home w/ Miami #THKBIG

Gase seems to be starting a collection of assistant head coaches

I thought he would give that gig to Vitt, if only to get a babysitter
