Four Downs,

It was interesting, however I just don't agree with the negative on Hagan.

He played great every year in AS. Last year he had games where it seemed he was the only guy on the field.

When we picked him up I felt we just stole something. I just don't see how a bad showing at the Senior bowl could hurt a proven gamer that badly.

Yeah, everyone seems fascinated with his combine and senior bowl like all he did at Arizona state was a fluke, his last three years in college producing 1000 yrds seasons. I don't even listen to guy's like Kiper and Mayock. How many times did Cutler move up and down the board for cryin out loud. They also have concerns about Hagans speed, I think players like Hagan just find ways to get open and use their blocks to get their YAC. I love the Hagan pick and I hope he's a baller for years to come.

I totally agree.

Even setting those freshmen records were unbelievable. We got lucky picking him.

I think there's a steal every draft and we stole Hagan.

They also seem to like the Aromashodu pick too. As did I. Big body with speed to burn, wow 7th rounder. Wouldn't it be sweet if he was in the mix?? They had Evans listed as a UDFA, I wish I were in the war room when they picked him, just to hear their thoughts.

Totally agree. Hagan is a football player. Even HOFer James Lofton says he will be a great one. Look at all the workout warriors who did great during the practices (i.e. Mike Mamula, Akili Smith, etc.) and how did they do in the pros? Hagan played well in big games and set all kind of records out there. I say we got a steal.

When did 4.45 speed become pedestrian? Hagan may not have been the fastest WR in this year's draft but he knows how to get open. If reports from mini camp are true, he knows how to catch the ball too.
