So far.......The Patsies were one of the other teams. But this is a good thing for us.....Although I'd like a few more signings in the near future I'm very happy with what we've done....

WELL DONE

Miami Dolphins: As long as he doesn't kiss new coach Cam Cameron, Joey Porter may be worth every penny of his guaranteed $20 million.

I really don't think we had a great off season. I think in the long run most of our moves will be good ones but Porter was far from a bargin.

i think we overpaid a little bit but it may be a great addition....i like the addition by subtraction too....Trading mare and picking up a few olineman that are average to above average in FA will nake my offseason.....and thenofcourse a stellar draft

I feel this will be one of the best drafts in franchise history. I do think we overpaid just a bit for Porter but I dnt have any doubts that we will be happy he is on the field come game day. Imagine how we would have done if Mueller was allowed to do his job when [Terry] came in to run the team.

So far so good so what? The draft will complete a very good off-season.

Just shows the difference between everyone's opinion and why you should pay no attention to either side's view on things. Just go with what you feel

I agree. Addition by subtraction has definitely been a plus, and we've finally, finally stockpiled draft picks. I love the Porter pickup and he just seems like he'll bring even more fire out the the whole defense. Schelsinger, well, we'll see what he's got, I still think that we might draft a FB in the later rounds if possible. I'd still like to see Lehr signed, for depth if anything, I know he's in town today. And to top off my offseason, Ken Hamlin would be a nice under-the-radar signing.

I don't know how this could be considered a great offseason yet. We have no starting LT, or LG, we only have two QBs on the roster, one who has started one game in his career, the other has been injured for the past two years. We haven't done anything to upgrade our secondary, we now have a backup TE as our starter, we don't even have a backup RB at this point. But we did sign Joey Porter so I guess that makes everything ok. Hopefully around the first or 2nd week of June things will look better, but as of right now I would say this offseason has been anything but great.

Did you forget the 9 draft picks we have? things arent as bleak as you may make them out to be. There are plenty of 2nd stringers on other teams who start in following years on different teams and succeed...It happens with NUMEROUS players every year

Im guessing the people who dont like the Joey signing are mad since we didnt give up a 2nd rd pick for him. Fans happen to love those bone headed moves and crappy players. I think if we would have traded for A.J. Feely again or maybe traded for DC like we did last year. Our Fans would be saying we are going to the SB.

Since we kept our Defense intact and upgraded it with Porter fans seem to be sad. Nevermind the fact the we have offered a contract to Spragan and are we are trying to resign David Bowens. Yea we let go of Carter, but we have Roth to take over for him. I realize we have ignored the offense a little, but we managed to upgrade the FB position by alot. Barnes is no Cory Schlesinger.

As far as the o-line we have to upgrade it threw the draft. You notice how last year the stinkin Jets Solidified their O-line with Ferguson and Mangold. Look at teams like the Eagles and SD they upgrade their O-lines threw the draft. As much as you guys like to knock on Carey the guy has been outstanding the last two years at RT. We also drafted Alabi, who you never here bad things about, you always here the players our the coaches praising this kid. Also if I remember correctly Toledo was beating out Anderson last year at G. If not for the injury he would have started.

Then their is the QB position. I know alot of fans out their like myself are not happy with Culpepper as the starting QB going into next year. While Cleo has showed promise, he has had only two starts. If you happen to look at what our franchise is doing , you will notice they have not ignored the position and are trying to upgrade. Miami has been in talks with Trent Green and if released or traded it seems as if Green will come here. Mueller and Cameron want to draft a QB. We have been in rumors of trading up for a QB or drafting a QB in the lower rds. So trust me my fellow Dol-fans our QB position we look very different 3months from now and I wouldnt be surprise if the intials DC are not on the roster.

espn also ranked us at 3rd best offseason..not that espn has any creditbility as most of the time they have no idea what they are talking about but it was clayton's article and he's pretty good
