From Fox Sports:
Miami worried

Did the Dolphins make a mistake in choosing Cam Cameron over Chan Gailey?

There is word that some in the organization are worried that they may have made the wrong decision. But owner Wayne Huizenga didn’t want to wait for Bears offensive coordinator Ron Turner, who had a solid interview in Miami, or for the Chargers to fire Marty Schottenheimer.

Believe me, Schottenheimer would have been the perfect coach for the Dolphins right now. Instead, they have San Diego’s offensive coordinator.

I think it's WAY too soon to worry over making the wrong decision over a head coach that has not even had his first draft, coached a preseason game not to mention a regular season game. News to stir the pot in my opinion.

Who is some? I mean really? A secretary? Wayne, Joe and Randy all agreed I'm sure to hire Cam. Dom was already paid, so who's left with any real voice to wonder about a mistake hiring Cam? Mularkey maybe? Who's are they upset about-Chan? Turner? or Shotty? I mean the article mentions 3 names, so someone is upset we missed out on 3 candidates that may or may not have wanted to coach for us? I smell BS.

Never heard of this guy and it's just another persons opinion without any real
meat to back up his "opinion"

not impressed

I think we made a good decision because we needed an offensive kind of coach.

cant see why, marty cant win the big one, not exactly the head coach i want. Think cam gunna do great. only other guy i would have considered id capers.

I find that very hard to believe.

I find this hard to believe as well....Cam has been here, what a month now? He hasn't done anything yet to make myself concerned about the hire, in fact I'm quite excited to see what he does in free agency and the draft. If he starts turning into a Wannstadt or Saban,,then I'll begin to worry but until then I'm aboard the Cam bandwagon.

Oh God, here we go.

Sports media has gotten COMPLETELY out of control. It's like the tail now wags the dog.

I was willing to consider it before the bit about Mary Schottenheimer.

Too early to determine that. Guys, be patient, let see what we have with Cam.

I think the only person who doesn't like the new coach is the guy who sells Little Debbies at Dolphin Stadium!!!

Phew. Had me worried there for a minute.

From the sound of it I thought there might have been a mutiny starting because Cameron had no idea what he was doing. To me, that article just sounds like there are people in the front office with different opinions on who Miami should have hired, which is no big deal.

I don't think the Schottenheimer business lends the article any credence either, since they had decided to keep Schottenheimer before Cameron was hired. It was only a few weeks ago that they decided the situation with GM AJ Smith was pretty much irreparable, and Miami certainly couldn't have expected that to happen.
