Who did Miami select as their franchise player. I don't remember seeing anything about their selection.

Well it's true. The franchise tag gives a player a contract that is the average of the top 5 contracts in the league for that position. No one on our roster commands that type of money, at least no one that we had to resign this season.

not every teams used the franchise tag. players hate it anyways. better off not using it anyways, only as a stop- gap until you can get a new contract.
