I have a question.. is there a deadline to declare franchised players and is there a certain post to announce them??

If you want to make it close to reality then isn't the deadline for the NFL March 3rd?

The FA isn't guranteed a go at March 1st. But mark your franchised player on your team page. Basically 24 hours after FA begins, the player is 'officially' yours. If you franchise a player right now, you cannot trade him until after that period, so he's officially apart of your team until after FA begins.

The day we start our free agency...which will be right around the time the NFL starts, or a few days after.

Got a question. There is no way to sign a UFA prior to free agency right? We can put a transition or franchise tag on them but if we dont want to do that do we put a tender on them? The price could be anything we want right? If someone comes in with a higher bid at the start of free agency can we raise our bid or are we barred from competing for that player?

The Raiders Franchise Charles Woodson for 4,900,000...Is this where I post it?

If you are franchising a player just do it on your team thread.

As for UFAs you can only transition or franchise them, otherwise they are gone from your team.

You can only tender offers to RFA, where you give them a set amount in order to get a 1st rounder, or 1st & 3rd rounder or original draft selection.

You can tag a Franchise and Transition player. That's it as far as UFAs go. You can only protect 2 UFAs....Tenders are for RFAs...The amounts are in the GM League Rules thread. After the first 24 hours of free agency, all RFAs, Franchise, and transition players are off the market. If they received a bid the team that tagged/tendered them has the option to match or not match.

Thx for straightening that out
