this guy looks like a pretty good player so far. maybe a steal as a 7th rder. i'm not saying he's ready to make the rotation yet but he looks really promising. seems to get alot of penetration and has a great motor. watched him blow up a couple of double teams last nite. i'm excited about this guy.

I think you have good reason. He's playing well in practice and in the game. He got good push and was a handful the whole time... got a sack too.

Agree completely. I really like his quickness and build. Excellent pickup.

He has probably earned himself a roster spot for these two games alone.

What I like the most is even when you don't notice that he has came in the game you will.He sure show's up to play.

Evans Has looked great so far. The only problem I see is he may be a little small for the NT position. It could be that I am just spoiled because we have huge guys like Traylor and Wilkinson there, but it seems to me if Evans put on 15 lbs and kept the explosiveness he could be a starter very soon.

Big Daddy might have the size to play NT but that does not mean that he can. It would be a new position for him since he has spent his entire career in a 4 - 3 alignment. To play a base 3 - 4 you have to have tackles that are versitile enough to play NT or DT in a 4 - 3 like Holliday. I think Evans has the versitility to play to play both.
Just becasue you base alignment is a 3 - 4 does not automatically meant that you will not play a 4 - 3 if the down and distance dicate that that would be the best alignment for the situation and you had personnel versitile enough to switch before the snap.

I like Evans a lot. He will make the team. No question. He has the look of a budding star!!!!

Evans might be the most impressive rookie considering where he was picked for us so far in 2 games. Guy has done a great job.

We weighs a lot more than he is listed. He's actually more in the 320 range.
