fred gibson??

we picked this guy up, he was a 4th round pick for the steelers and a good college player, so why did we not bring him up from the practice squad? instead of cliff russell?

My guess is that he is still going through the strugles that rookie wr's seem to go through, he is a project that hopfuly will play for us next year.

I think if we are out of the playoff race in a few weeks we will see what gibson can do this year.

Gibson sprained his ankle 2 weeks ago and until recently has been on crutches. Don't expect him to even be considered till next month...
