Fred Taylor to visit Patriots,Bills

Not to mention that their RB situation is a huge question mark as well. Maroney can't seem to stay healthy, and Kevin Faulk is Kevin Faulk.

Taylor's getting up there in years anyway.

Yeah their running back situation is pretty bad, like you said Maroney cant stay healthy, Kevin Faulk is decent but not a starter and dont they have Lamont Jordan? I'm not worried about Fred Taylor being a stud there, it just bothers me how they love bringing in old vets. The Bills are in better shape, Marshawn Lynch is a stud but just threw his carrer down the drain and possibly done in the NFL, but Fred Jackson is a stud too, I can see Fred Taylor going there being the #2 RB

I forgot about Lamont Jordan. He hasn't done alot since the Jets let him go.

Taylor could very well be the featured back in Buffalo.

Actually his best season was his first season on the Raiders, I think that was his only 1,000 yard season. But hes never been a stud RB

I feel bad for Taylor getting cut. He had played his entire career in FL. He will be a nice complimentary back somewhere.

Funny how the 2nd leading rushing team in AFC is called to have a bad running!!!
4.4 yds/rush , 2400 yds is bad ?. wow just a question how is the 7th rushing team in AFC [dolphins] compare to the 2nd one i wonder ?

I find it pretty funny how Fin Fans think the Pats run game was weak when they rushed for more yards than 27 other teams last year.:lol:

I compare it too Ronnie Brown pounding you guys for 4 TD's (5 if you include his passing one)...BTW Ronnie had more passing TD's then Brady....

Patriots werent **** until the 2001 season and all of the sudden every one and there moms is a Gaytriots fan.....I hope u enjoyed your couple of years of being a championship caliber team buddy but its all fading away..quick

Just been an average back. I thought he'd do alot better things when he came out of UMD.

I'd like him back for another season with the Pats. I like Taylor, but there are a lot of miles on him already. If Jordan moves on, Taylor would be a good fit. He'd have to come cheap though.

:hi5:

New England has a bunch of backs but I don't think any of them are "feature" backs. Buffalo may lose Lynch to a game or two but they're also negotiating with Fred Jackson on a deal.

I think he'll get an opportunity some place. The days of one back getting all the carries seem to be over. A place like Philadelphia makes sense to me.

New Englands front office is garbage compared to?

Really??? Well lets see, last year the Patriots lost a total of 8 starters to I.R., including league MVP Tom Brady, also another 3 back ups went out on I.R. as well. So all they did with 2/3rds of their starting line up on I.R. is go 11-5. Sorry son but if you think that is fading, then you know very little about the sport of football.
