According to PFF, Borom had a 53.8 rating. Eichenberg was 53.1, so not necessarilty an upgrade.
Just want to put this out there as McDaniel said this about Liam last year:

Mike McDaniel on Liam Eichenberg: “Liam Eichenberg has developed so much in the last couple of seasons with us and has done so by being a master of multiplicity… the next step for him is to find his ceiling as a player.”

Multiplicity meaning he could transform from alligator to traffic cone and back to useless human being on a single play.

JFC, McDaniel is who we are relying on for evalutaions?

But, Borom was a useless signing.im talking about Daniels, which is a significant upgrade to Eich.

Even in Daniels misses games, he'll still block better in those missed games then Eich did.

If Borom is even remotely in any consideration to start at L OR RG, Then Tua better demand a trade yesterday lol. Zack Wilson too

I believe it Mac Jones were not a Patriot, people would have been more open to him as a backup.

I would have preferred him over Wilson personally

I believe I mentioned both when the backup discussion was going on late last season. I would have preferred Mac, too. But I’m not disappointed that we signed Wilson. 2 years. & $7m for Mac is clearly a better deal than 1 year & $6m for Wilson, if we are strictly talking about money.

I like Barron but I’m not so sure he’s a boundary guy at the next level. His best position might actually be safety.

This is not a good year to need a CB at #13. If Will Johnson doesn’t fall, which he likely won’t, then you don’t really have any value options.

We are either going to trade for a corner, spend money and gamble on Asante Samuel Jr., or they’re really confident in Cam Smith staying healthy AND becoming a professional for once in his life……
These morons were confident Rob Jones and Liam Eichenberg were the answer at guard so I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt. Cam Smith sucks and should not be anywhere near starting next season. They need to find a starter from somewhere.
