ESPN.com's John Clayton reports there is some thought that if owners are still talking Wednesday night, March 8, free agency could be pushed back another 24 hours.

it could, but only if a new CBA is reached. Adam Sheffter reported that they might move FA back to Friday if a new deal is in place just so all the teams can get organized.

Their done negotiating, and there will be no more extensions for that.

I have a feeling that it will keep being delayed until they absolutely can get a deal done or absolutely cannot get a deal done. However if they keep pushing it back there will be a time where they just cannot delay anymore, IMO all of March can be pushed back but April is pushing it. If something couldn't get done by the end of March THEN we are in trouble.

everybody covering the meetings believe something will get done by Wednesday night, but if it doesn't they won't delay the cut deadline again (both sides agreed to that). FA might get delayed so that teams can get organized, and the players can sign off on the agreement.

the good thing about this postpone issue is that Free agency will be more intense, as it's gonna be shorter :D

I would almost do anything just to get a new CBA. I believe it is very important to the NFL. Come on owners, vote yes on proposistion "save the NFL."
