I am going to give a projected start date for free agency as a week from sunday (March 5th). This is not written in stone. We still have alot to do to prepare for free agency. We are going to need volunteers to help update the bids. If at all possible, volunteer for a position that you are unlikely to place a bid on....this will help prevent people from accusing you of wrongful doing. I will also post some free agency rules between now and then. A couple of them are covered on the GM league Rules thread but from the questions i've received I can tell alot of people didn't read that thread to begin with.:D
 
I will again volunteer to monitor a couple positions. But ifyou choose me just to warn you, I would only get to do it once a day or so. Thats what happens when you get married.

I'm usually on atleast 3 or 4 times a day so I would be willing to update a catagory or two.
 
Ok. Lynchmobb is down for the safeties and kickers/punters. NewEra is down for Quarterbacks and Running Backs. Thanks guys. I put myself down for Cornerbacks. The rest of you who volunteered..Is there a particular position that you don't see yourself placing many bids on?
 
i'll be more hten happy to help with DB. I dont really know what to do, if someone can just give me a quick overview of my job that would be great.
 
Will there be any penalties for teams who bid on players without the necessary cap room or have more than 10 active bids this year?

If we catch that...we will retract the bid. You can't spend money you don't have. You are supposed to be under the cap by sunday..and stay under it for the remainder. And don't forget to figure in money for draft picks as well.
 
If you cant find anyone I can do OL but I will be bidding on them just to let you know
