I have been on NFL.com and the 2006 free agency page is never up to date and has no movement on it as of yet. Does anyone know of a good link to go to for up to date movements. I can't seem to leave the computer with all thats going on around here. I just want a QB and good reliable QB. The sevarity of the damage to drew's arm scares me but Saban know's best. Anyways just looking for a good link to keep me up to date with the wheelin and dealin.

I like http://www.theredzone.org/... They have a link right above the news and stuff that says "Free Agent Visits", it doesn't seem to be updated yet but they usually will have which free agents are meeting with who. Pretty cool site though:cooldude:

I started a thread on this the other day...but as far as I know only one other person added to it

http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/showthread.php?t=128314

I like it...it's all sorts of transactions...not just players...but they're included as well of course...it's pretty accurate and updated fairly frequently...hope this helps:D

Wow the Browns signed Bentley.....cool.

Not Cool. I wanted Bentley as much as Brees. I realize we regard Huock as an integral resource for developing our line... but I've always believed it starts up front. And, when a talent like Bentley comes available, you have to consider and possibly pursue it.

I was really surprised we didn't get involved more.

Bentley and Shaffer in one swoop. Young, up and coming OL at the 2 most critical positions. The Browns just improved by 3 or 4 wins in 2 moves. This is a big development.

bentley would have to be paid a lot, and he's coming off of his worse year. we'll have someone play just as well for much cheaper.

While it may sound weird that I would agree with this statement whole heartedly.... I do.

It's simply that we, as a franchise, have had 3 tremendous deficiencies on the offensive side of the ball since Dan left. C, LT and QB. And let's face it, when you're building an offense, you NEED these pieces more than most.

A player of Bentley's quality doesn't come along often on the FA market. I recall us missing out on Tait and Kreutz. I regarded him more than Brees or Pepper becuase of (lack) injuries. He's young, a complete specimen at C, no major injury history and he would be under Hudson Huock's crafting hands.

It simply had the making for the best young C in the game. And, I was chomping at the bit to see it happen.
