Does anyone else think it might be difficult to lure free agents to Miami? 1 and 15, changing coaches every year, and most free agents want to play for a contender doesn't make Miami a strong recruiting team. I'm worried we might have to overpay in order to get players interested in the Dolphins.

Two Words: Bill Parcells

The man is one of the most respected minds in the NFL.

NO i dont think so it is a nice area and we have a Winning VP Bill Parcells

i wouldnt want big names anyway...i wanna be like the giants,packers,saints...all teams that are goods, but made it with low profile names

I really don't think so....

the only voluntary change we've made recently was firing Cam...and that move was made to a proven franchiser builder in Parcells. We won't get any Patriot-type discounts, but we won't be discounted either.

I don't think it would be hard to get anyone to come to Miami...it's not Minny, Green Bay, Detroit....there is a lot to see and do and not freeze to death.

i'd think o-line (or any position player) would love to play for parcells... plus think the city, weather.... plus money talks (how willing is miami to lure in that aspect???)

Players should see stability with Parcells on board. They should know that we'll be a playoff team in a couple of years. Our Dolphins are on the way up ...finally!!

maybe I am wrong I dont live in Florida but there is no state tax on income in Florida right?

Let their agents talk to them about Taxes in other states besides Florida, they'll ask where do they sign, especially in this economy.

At the end of the day... it's a business... for all sides.... there's a limited and finite number of teams and opportunities... it's about value and productivity....

Word is spread.... there's no way we target a guy that doesn't want to be a Dolphin for whatever reason... if a player has an issue with the current Dolphin staff... he's not going to be a targeted FA anyway....

Will we get everyone we target... maybe.. maybe not... but it will come down to business... and that means value and productivity...
