I dont think we can really have a preference at this point.

But Edwards has better upside, and all around talent.

"He is a talented guy that started his career at DS and moved to DC as a junior, but probably be switched back to DS on the NFL level. He is a big physical player with excellent speed and AA and as a safety, his cover skills are solid. He is built like a safety, but needs some technique work in his peddles and turns, as he is not a real fluid guy in change of direction and overall footwork."

Their should be good competition between these 2 athletes, and I think if we do sign Edwards he will win it...

same as surfer.. arturo cause he knows the system but im all for edwards beating him out in the preseason if he shows he can live up to his potential...i also havent ruled out yeremiah bell as being a contributer for us in the near future.

i think edwards starts the season opener on athletic ability, but if history repeats itself, freeman will probably end the season as the starter. i'm just not sure edwards can stay healthy.
