Personally, after watching both of these QB's compete, I don't think it really matters which QB gets the starting job. At this point, the both of them look capable of leading this new open offense. I'm not expecting huge numbers by either one of them, but they have made some progress over last season....

Honestly, I don't really care who wins the starting job. I think either one of them will be good enough in this offense. It all depends on the OL, and if they can continue to protect them. When they have time to throw, they look solid...

Frerotte has a better deep ball IMO. He's had his share of overthrows, but there have been alot of drops out there as well. Frerotte looks comfortable, but seems like he needs more time with the WR's. His passes are nice and tight, but he's got to learn how to lead his WR without overthrowing it....

Feeley has a solid short game, and when he has time, he's a more dangerous QB when it comes to moving the chains. He also looks like he's gaining confidence over the last two weeks. He's got to feel the pass rush better, and know when to just throw it away instead of trying to thread the needle. I like what I've seen from Feeley over the last two weeks, and he could have a small advantage right now. He's certainly picking up this system it appears....

So, I guess my point is this. I don't care who starts, do you????...

I think if the OL can continue to improve, our QB's will be decent regardless of who the starter is....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Totally agree. I don't care who starts. Some will argue that you gain nothing by starting Frerotte. I say they are the same. One will play well one game, the other will play well one game. They are both inconsistant. That's the problem. Who cares who starts! Get on with it.

Bets QB thread yet. because it truly doesnt matter who satrts this year. Saban will find a guy next season.

Well, Frerotte has done less than I expected, and Feeley has done more than I expected, so I'd call it a draw. Frerotte still has much better pocket presence, but he's been off on his timing. Feeley looks like he definitely has better timing with his WR's. Put these two QB's atributes together and we'd have a probowl Caliber on our hands, but for now............... Either one is OK with me, but I just REALLY hope that we stick with one, and only one of them!!!

This is how I feel as well.

I trust Saban's judgment as to which QB can best lead the team. I don't care which one he picks.

I agree. I think both will do somewhere between okay and mediocre, unless the o-line develops significantly (which I truly believe can happen). I still believe Gus starts the season but AJ takes over before mid season, unless Gus lights it up.

of course i care... i think feeley should be starter because thats what would be best for the organization as a whole... if feeley and frerotte are dead even right now, might as well start the guy that we're invested in and who is inexperienced who can grow... most likely he wont pan out as anything great, but theres an outside chance and might as well hope for that if frerotte wont do any better...

I care. Gus doesnt throw the costly type of INT's.

I know I don't care. I hardly ever think about who should be the starting QB for the Dolphins. I think the majority feel the same way I do or you'd probably see dozens of threads about it everyday.

Don't get me wrong, I care about our QB's. I just don't care who starts considering that they're both about as even as you can get right now....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Gus has had 3 weeks working with the 1st team and he STILL hasn't got the timing with his receivers. He overthrows too many passes and he has no touch at all on his short passes and checkdowns to the RB's. At least Feeley is showing improvement with the offense which is much more than I can say for Gus.

Feeley isn't Saban's or Linehan's "guy", he belongs to the last regime. They are upset that their boy isn't cutting it, they don't want Feeley to win the job. Just look at the farce of a QB "competetition" and all the excuse making that Frerotten is getting from both Saban and Linehan if you want proof...... It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

And this is what I do not understand about Feeley supporters. Why not bide your time and be patient and let him come in on the fly when it is easier to succeed and build confidence with the rest of your team? why not let him come in in say week Five when Ricky is back and your Oline has come together more? Why not wait until there are only 53 guys on the roster every day instead of 110? (im exagerrating I know, but to make a point).
The thing I think people are scared of is the ugly truth that will come out once Feeley faces the same thing he faced last year and then screwed up week after week (until the famous NE game  )
