~LACUNA LEGIONS~
Personally, after watching both of these QB's compete, I don't think it really matters which QB gets the starting job. At this point, the both of them look capable of leading this new open offense. I'm not expecting huge numbers by either one of them, but they have made some progress over last season....
Honestly, I don't really care who wins the starting job. I think either one of them will be good enough in this offense. It all depends on the OL, and if they can continue to protect them. When they have time to throw, they look solid...
Frerotte has a better deep ball IMO. He's had his share of overthrows, but there have been alot of drops out there as well. Frerotte looks comfortable, but seems like he needs more time with the WR's. His passes are nice and tight, but he's got to learn how to lead his WR without overthrowing it....
Feeley has a solid short game, and when he has time, he's a more dangerous QB when it comes to moving the chains. He also looks like he's gaining confidence over the last two weeks. He's got to feel the pass rush better, and know when to just throw it away instead of trying to thread the needle. I like what I've seen from Feeley over the last two weeks, and he could have a small advantage right now. He's certainly picking up this system it appears....
So, I guess my point is this. I don't care who starts, do you????...
I think if the OL can continue to improve, our QB's will be decent regardless of who the starter is....
PHINZ RULE!!!
