Friday brings the world a new finfan

Hey all, I don't write much, however I am on this site daily getting my dose of fin news. I live in Reno NV (born in Maine, damn dirty pat cheating country) but i am a true Dolphins fan, i have all three logos tatoo'd on my arm. Well, just wrote to say that my son was born today! (second child, I have a daughter that is two) and his name: Zach Thomas Rancourt! my wife didn't even notice until she fell in love with the name . You see she is a Tom (ouch my leg) Brady lovin pat fan.That being said, Three tatoos and a child named after my favorite player of all time...thats gotta give me some fandom props right?

How do you know he will like the Dolphins and not be a Pats fan? I would be careful if I were you!

Congrats, but remeber to let them choose who they root for. When my son was Born, I held a hand made sign up saying Miami Dolphins #1 fan, he's now 20 and a 49er fan. I wanted him to be a Dolphin fan, but he wanted to be a 49er fan. Ahwell, as long as he loves the game I'm happy.

yeah i would be careful too.. on of my friends is a huge cowboys fan and he despretly wants both of his lil brothers to be cowboys fan. They are 7 and 8 years old. One does like the cowboys as hes was brain washed but the other one became an eagles fan! lol

You don't need to convert him into a Fin fan, just let him watch the games with you and he should pick it up on his own.

Congratulations on your son's birth and on selecting a great name (also my son's name:up:). My best advice is to enjoy each stage of your kids' childhood while you can since they grow up so fast although to you it'll always seem like yesterday when you were driving them home from the hospital and cringing when cornered into changing their diapers ).
