Wonder if Rose retorted with the ungodly amount of misses during Parcells' watch?
 
I do not miss either of those CB's. Davis is always banged up and I question his commitment to his game. Smith never played well enough to come back.
 
I kind of cringed when Parcells said something like 'hey, I left right after the Packers win, the franchise had a good record at that point and I thought I had them in good shape. Not sure what happened after I left...'
 
i think this team would be wise to rest finnegan again this week and play with what we have...i'd rather have finny a go for baltimore...this defense shouldnt need finny to limit this sorry jets o and qb...

just roll help under or over the other starting corner monday night...play the run on early downs and roll help on obvious pass downs and spy the qb and we should be fine...that jets offense has no confidence and amaro isnt expected to play...be ready for the harvin quick hit stuff and screen game to him etc and we will be fine

geno will give us the rock multiple times if that running game isn't gashing us...and no reason it should...the jets cant expose misi with formations in the run game and make him late like the broncos did...repeatedly

I absolutely miss Vontae. He's easily a top 10 corner. I see a lot him, being in Indiana. Everyone here loves the guy, he still may have an occasional mental gaffe but he's a beast. Would take him back in a heartbeat

If a player is healthy enough to play, he should play. If he is not, he is scratched.

This Jets team is going to run, run and run some more Monday. I am not convinced Miami can stop the run.
 
We couldn't stop the run last week. Yet people think we lost to Manning which we did but I mean we lost cause we couldn't tackle more than anything else,

I do not disagree and maybe that is why the run defense has not been exposed as much.

With that said, it is time to man up, stop the run and get the Jets in 3rd and long situations.
 
the jets are too one dimensional and they dont have the qb to expose us...good not even great defenses chew that stuff up...if finnys limping ariund all over the practice field vs this opponent i'd be giving him another 10 days to get right...

Agree with this. Their poor qb play really makes them one dimensional from the get go. Play base defense against these guys most of the day and we'll be fine
