Did anybody else go? This is how I saw it..
Running Backs: Ricky was the one who looked best. Or quickest. Gordon was alright too..MInor was Minor..(for the few carries he got)
QB's: Both Gus and AJ looked pretty even. Both had some incompletions, some overthrows..But both also had some nice deep balls. Saw 1 where AJ threw a beautiful ball over both defenders and right into the hands of D. Thompson for a long 30-40 yard TD. McMichael was catching everything thrown at him as usual.
Most Impressive: OUR DEFENSE. Specifically -our Pass RUSH. Our Pass D is gonna be SICK. It's true that they kept coming from every side. There were more plays where they ended up in Sacks than anything else.Defense is really picking up the scheme. THe Run Stopping Defense was also solid. IT looked like they wouldn't let anything come up the middle. They gave up a nice run to Ricky though. Came out the left side.
O-Line was doing a much better job of giving the QB's some time.-and with all these crazy blitzes from all sides by our D. But still I counted a whole bunch of sacks though out the practice.
At the end of practice Saban grabbed the mic and addressed the whole crowd. He was thanking us for being there, and said we're gonna have a great year, and they need us ..12th man bla, bla, bla..Bottom line, he hyped me and everybody else up! ANybody else go ? what did yall think?
