Per LaCanfora, who seems to be everyone's latest punching bag.

John Wooten of Fritz Pollard Alliance told me Browns exec Ray Farmer mulling over 2nd interview w/MIA. Farmer's decision likely w/in an hour

Does this mean Farmer is actually considering, you know, turning down a second interview? I mean, :bobdole:.

More on this story as it slithers out on someone's filth....

I f there is anything we have learned over this process. It is not to jump too conclusions.

Our frontrunner may not even want the position? It will be interesting if he does decline, if he will give reasons

Here's my prediction:

Is that the same organization who not too long ago made that BS call for all African-American GM prospects to deny the Dolphins an interview because they ran with BS story from Salguero about the dysfunctional power structures?

If Farmer really said to the guy from FPA that he is mulling over a second interview I would drop him from the list immediately.

Dear God!! Hide yo kids, hide yo wife!!

I'm almost hoping he declines just so I can see people's head's explode.

That said, I guess I hope he does come in so we get to look at everyone one last time. Better the team over my amusement. :(

Seriously. If the guy has to think about even doing an interview then he obviously doesn't want to be here.

Meh ... I'm lukewarm about him anyway. But considering it's from LaCanfora, who knows?

If true, ef him.

Maybe Farmer is trying a power grab. I think that is a brilliant move.

Those stories were not about dysfunctional power structures, it was about unclear power structures. And they weren't unwarranted. The Dolphins have broached different power structures with different candidates and some of the candidates have gone away confused to the point of calling each other to ask what the hell is going on.

Since JLC's track record for accuracy is terrible huge grains of salt here.
But...

Wooten is Farmer's mentor and benefactor so it is no surprise that he is his conduit for information.
When the FPA thing came out I figured it was a ploy by Farmer who had not understood the power structure to force the fins into organizational assurances that we do not want to do.
Since then you saw a lot of pro Farmer pub coming from us which I assumed was Peterson related.

These type of stories make me think that when it is all said and done we may simply elevate Gaine.
