Some of these sound like a clone of FH

Miami is one of the franchise/markets that the league prefers to be successful.
Even if the Lions came out crushing, the refs will utilize the subjective holding (and non holding) calls to dictate the outcome.
They probably won’t need to intervene though … I don’t see how our defense can slow down the team speed on Miami’s offense.
But, the refs will be there to assure a Miami win.

Actually I’m more concerned with Miami’s D than O

We are in trouble Sunday. We don’t have the talent to neutralize one of their guys, let alone 3 or 4. The defense was improved last week but that isn’t saying much at all.

Edmunds can fly at running back. Mostert had the highest speed in the NFL a couple of years ago. Waddle is fast as hell. And of course Hill is probably the fastest we have seen in the NFL in a long time.
I can’t think of a faster group ever … and it seems to working for them.
We were the opposite today. Zero game breaking speed anywhere. Nothing.

This is why I get annoyed with people playing the victim card here, but just with almost anything., every group of people are going to have their subset of various views, be it overly positive or overly negative.

I can see Lions fans thinking all 31 other teams in the league get preferential treatment, as they have won nothing in their franchise history. I mean, there are fan bases in this league that have it way worse than we do 🤷‍♂️.

Agreed, us Miami Dolphins fanatics are not unique, what is unique about us is our lack of a legitimate answer at QB since marino and our damn playoff win drought, which might explain our group skewing to skepticism more so than some other fan bases. Tua might be our solution to the former, but jury still out on durability/availability moving forward

That last statement provides me with little consolation, haha...need to see this team be successful consistently in a sustainable manner, is that too much to ask? I raised my oldest son a dolphins fan, and he fully bought in. Hopefully he gets to cheer on the phins as we go on deep playoff runs...

Wait - not true! They won a championship in the 50’s when they were coached by - drum roll - George Wilson - who later became the first coach of our beloved Miami Dolphins!!! I’m sure most people in Detroit remember it like it was yesterday 😂

We have the refs in our pocket???? HHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHA. I guess they don't know about getting our 1st round pick jacked or Teddy getting pulled by the goombah NYC spotter. Yeah, we're the darlings of the NFL.

We should be 5-3 sunday after game.. Detroit started out fast but fading too bottom off nfl.. Another top 5 pick for lions next yr..
Agree with the first sentence. but they are 1-5, so I just can't make the leap to "started out fast".

That first statement sounds exactly like this board when we are playing the Pattsie, just switch the Miami with Pats and Lions with Miami ! 🤣

I agree, it doesn't make it much easier to stomach the last 20+ years, but realizing other franchises have had to endure that since the inception of the NFL keeps me away from the ledge 😂

Trade Edmonds to the lions for 6 pack of Buds and send them my way lol
