I see on the front page that DC did well in practice. Does anyone know how Joey did?

who cares how joey did, if peps ready to go he gives us the best chance to win.

 Way to tell it like it is is. Short and to the point.

I'm not nearly as convinced about Culpepper as some of you guys are. If Culpepper gives us the best chance to win, the way he has been playing, we are in trouble. Because, quite frankly, Culpepper hasn't done ****. And you can blame whoever you want to blame to deflect any criticism away from Culpepper. There is no way that all the blame can be put on the offensive line. A great QB stands out, bad o-line or not. There has been a helluva lot of plays and points left on the field because of poor decision making on the QBs fault. IF you ask me, Daunte needs to step and TRY to make some plays. Talk about being conservative. I'd almost be willing to bet that more than half of his completions are premature dump-offs to the backs or TEs before even giving a play a chance to develop. Our Pro Bowl reciever is non-existent and it's because our QB isn't trying to make any plays. It's plain and simple: Culpepper needs to take some responsibility for this crap heap of an offense, step up, and make some plays...

Joey sucks look at the games from when he was in Detroit

Not IMO.? 1 Do you consider Culpepper great? and 2.The Best QB's have always had at least a GOOD O-Line. Most great QB's have had great O-Lines. Ours is woeful at the moment. I dont want any second half of the season improvement when the season has gone down the pan like last season. I want Improvement from tomorrow.

No I do not consider Culpepper great. That's the point. Gus Frerotte played behind a line that was no better than this one and did much better. This line, from Saban's account is an upgrade over last years. Everyone screams that they trust Saban's judgement and it was in his opinion that these players are upgrades from last season. This is by no means a good line, but a QB who holds the ball too long can make the line look even worse.

I don't get it. Last year when Gus was sacked everyone screamed Gus was holding the ball too long. This year it HAS to be the O-line that's the whole problem. King Culpepper couldn't possibly make mistakes. :rolleyes2

i don't think the dolphins o-line has even played as "well" as they did last year. This o-line this season has done nothing in opening holes for backs or protecting CPepp during passing plays. It has been horrible, annoying, and dow right stomach turning watching this o-line attempt to play. The dolphins must address this issue before ext season...but hopefully with all he shuffling thats been going on that its just timing and getting to know how one another play together...i do't know but if this issue is not addressed then this is going to be a long season maybe even as long as the 4-12 season 3 years ago. Miami must win this week to have any chances in saving the season.

yeah, and Culpepper has done everything right.

I know the line is bad. But all the sacks can't be pinned on them. There are alot more issues than just them and Culpepper is one of them. For whatever reason, Culpepper is not playing well.

honestly, i think daunte just needed a day off to rest an get back on track, we'll see though

I think that Culpepper will start in the game tomorrow, but if things don't look real good meaning if Culpepper has problems with his throws like he has or if he gets sack to much or lands on his sore shoulder I think that Saban will go with Joey. I have this feeling that tomorrow we will get the chance to see what Joey can do for the Dolphins.
