Coach said Ryan knew the playbook after 3 hours with his position coach. That's crazy good.

Tannehill talks a bit more about it in his interview on the site also. He notes that a lot of it was the same as his A & M playbook with a few additions.

If you haven't already, I suggest you watch Tannehill's presser. Very likeable guy, impressed me a lot.

I did and he sounded pretty confident to me. i was in favor of trading down and gettig Weeden but this maybe the perfect storm with Sherman , Philbin , Tannehill and the WCO so I'm all in now.

Not letting Long go anywhere is indeed good new!

I wonder about discretion. Should Tannehill reveal that the playbook is quite similar with only "few additions" to the one he ran in college at Texas A&M this early in the offseason? Gives Belichick 4 months to prepare.

Oh snaps Belichick going to pick former Texas A&M players' brains for information.

He seems like a different person after Tuna left. He actually has a personality, jokes around and laughs. At least the organization is smart enough to know keeping the fans in the dark about everything was not real smart. Glad to see they are making themselves available more and talking about things that are important to the fans.

Nice interview, thanks for sharing.

You are right. Ireland, Ross, and company have had a good couple weeks. Unlike the rest of the world, I've given Ross a scholarship to this point. It takes time for a new owner to adapt to the role, and they all make mistakes at first. Kraft was a disaster his first few years in N.E., but he's now in a leadership role in the NFL. I expect the same out of Ross, and IMHO he has confidence in Ireland for a reason. It's just as fans it's hard for us to be patient.

If Tannehill is the goods, I think we are FINALLY on our way back to consistent relevance.

For every fan that is excited about Tannehill.. I'm sure there is an equal amount that isnt.. me personally I see him as being nothing more than a Chad Henne Part II... All I'm saying is proceed with caution... just sayin

Whoa, whoa....that's a lil harsh....Henne had zero escapability. How you make it to be a 2nd round draft pick in the NFL w/out the ability to handle pocket pressure is beyond me.

Ohyeah, he fit Parcells "formula".
