Right, and that's really the key.

I want the better player. Miami is in position to significantly upgrade multiple positions. I hope they do. When you bargain shop and get the lesser player, you really can't complain or be surprised when you don't have a playmaker.
 
I am very high on Emmanwori, but in this mock I went with Starks because I couldn't find, and don't really know too much about, the FA free safties to pair him with.

It is. Trying to get discussion going - I read that Emmanouri scored a 10 out of 10 on the RAS score, while Starks was a 5.5 , and I know that is not the end all be all when it comes to prospects, but that seemed particularly impressive. But I have been educated that they play different roles in the secondary...

I get serious Kyle Hamilton vibes with Emmanwori. Would be a great chess piece for Weaver to move around.

If you watch the drills in the combine and study the movement there wasn’t anyone better in just graceful coordinated movement, this is where he makes up ground by not wasting movement and being efficient.

He also ran over 23 mph which was top 5

Emanwori quite after the forty, not Starks

That to me is a red flag and I know who I would choose

Some thoughts:

Get a capable gunslinger to back up Tua
Jackson is a big power back with great speed
Pinnock and Starks is a formidable safety duo
Get a true X receiver to push Waddle to slot potentially, also get another big wr in Brown in FA
Tremble becomes the move TE that is an elite blocker, Hill might actually be better on the line.
mix of affordable vets and mid round draft picks on the OL to have a competition in TC for starters
DT's are being rotated so we get some run stuffers with upside, and rotate them with proven vets
Get a solid #2 corner in White, love Quincy Riley as a ballhawking specialist. Cam Smith needs to show out this year
Dodson and Brooks was a solid pairing, adding Stutsman will bolster that room as a blitzer and high IQ player

Dunno why Noteboom. He pretty much sucks and is often injured. I'm sure someone will say that makes him perfect for Grier to sign. Wilson, the Jawjuh C has never played guard. So it's a pretty significant assumption he could seamlessly move there. There would be other experienced guards to pick at 98 besides him. Most likely at least Dylan Fairchild, the other UGA guard besides Ratledge, would be available.

Yeah that’s counting on Wynn to be the starter after two straight years of him playing like less than 6 games a year.

Paul is still very much raw, playing 6-7 games doesn’t change that as the tape was all over the place, showed great potential at times and other times it wasn’t good. I pray he comes in playing like a 6 year above average player but we have no idea if that’ll be true. Hes still a very big unknown.

RAS is meaningless and is no indication of how he’ll turn out. I just posted in another thread Nick Boltons like 4.84 RAS score and how Zach Thomas was smaller and way worse in every category, his RAS score would of been like a 0.5, Jarvis Landry in fact had a 0.27 RAS score. I like the scheme fit but he played less than 1k college snaps and you’re asking a position change on top of that, he’s not something that should be penciled into a starting role. Great development guy for 2-3 years from now.

Yes Daniels is coming off an Achilles but he had plenty of athleticism to give. He’s a near elite level linemen who’d get 12-14 million in an open market prior to injury. If you can get him in a 1-2 year 6 or so million a year it’s worth the risk.

RAS is only good for comic relief when revisiting it in a year or two.
