Cool little bit of news I heard today that Gase gave up play calling to Loggins for the Atlanta game. Not sure if it means much, but it did seem to work for our offense.

I could be wrong, but I have a vague memory that maybe he did this last year too? And said it was practice in the case of emergency during season or something?

Can you honestly say you have a complete sense of confidence in Sanders? I sure as hell cant. I will be cringing everytime he kicks, for a while. :nailbiting

Hopefully we are scoring TDs so we dont have to worry about it.:bang:

Gase said he’ll stop calling plays once he trusts his OC. Loggains is his boy so it won’t surprise me to see him give it up this year or next. So he can focus on the entire team.

good god i hope not

It wasn't too hard to call......the DB's were playing off and stacking on the same line for most of the first half. I mean, that is like taking candy from a baby. They finally stopped doing that and we scored less. I honestly have no idea what the D-Coordinator was doing for the Falcons in the first half.

Putting bubble guys in the situations needed for evaluation. I didn't see the game, but it seems Loggins had some logic in his play calls. Don't know if that was by design or coincidence.

Why, he's been accurate inside of 50, hasn't missed an extra point. I am as confident in him as any other kicker.

I'm pretty sure Gase wanted to concentrate on the players instead of the play calling last night.
As far as our kicker, I'm ok with him. He missed two all pre season and both were from 53 yards? Hit one from 56 too so.

Yes, if you get a chance to watch it; you will laugh. Almost everything was outside because of the soft/stacked coverage. I definitely give him credit as he kept calling easy calls based on the coverage.

If all he’s doing is kicking extra points then I won’t even care.

Good kickers are crushing 50+ kicks these days. I expect that, so no I’m not confident in Sanders yet. I do trust Rizzi, so that makes me feel a bit better.
