UPDATE 2:37 p.m. ET: League spokesman Greg Aiello tells PFT that, in the week after the conference title games and before the Pro Bowl, assistant coaches from the Super Bowl teams may participate in second interviews. This means that if the assistant was interviewed by a team at some point before that week, he can be interviewed a second time. Thus, Joe Philbin could be interviewed for a second time by the Dolphins. Philbin and Moss will not be available for a first interview with the Raiders.

I hope we're able to hire our guy, whoever it is, before all their potential assistants get snatched up elsewhere. I would like to see us hire one sooner rather than later (part of that is because the guy I want is already available lol) I have to think it would also be beneficial to have them for the senior bowl

we are gonna be able to interview Philbin again monday after the giants beat the packers today

For the sake of the Dolphins coaching search, I hope so. Philbin isn't my first choice but if the reports are true that Ross was impressed by him, my guess is he wants to at least talk with him again before he makes a decision.

Has any word leaked about who was interviewed yesterday?

I just hope Ross doesn't make his decision like the fans would and assume that just because Philbin coaches in Green Bay that the Green Bay offense will come with him. It won't, because that Green Bay offense is all about Aaron Rodgers, not Joe Philbin.

Mike Zimmer, Dave Toub, and Todd Bowles would be my top three and the ones I would focus on at this point.

I think there was no interview yesterday. It was a misunderstanding started by Jeff Darlington from Ross' presser.

I feel the same way....he's in a team with a great QB....he'd be coming to a team with no QB in a matter of speaking...I like the guy from the bears.

Ozzy rules!!
