Listening to Saban's post practice interview now, he said it was best practice so far. Sad to see Bellamy go, but says was the best thing for the team under circumstances.

seems like the last 3 practices are the best he has seen so far. Which I guess is good.

It's like the opposite of Office Space. So every day is the worst day of your life? Man, that's messed up.

Check out the interview with our new Guard Frank Middleton, it's on the second player interviews link after A.J.Feeley. He says "I didn't want to go to a team that was going to lose or take a long time to rebuild." also that he wanted to go to a team that was going to have a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Said he didn't want to waste himself on a team that wasn't going anywhere and that we have the best 1-2-3 wider recievers, a stacked back field, and an awesom defense. This guy believes!

Seems like those of us that where wondering why Middleton was still out there got our answer....He is just finishing up rehab for the quad and was probably just recently able to pass a physical.

*EDIT*

and he seems to think that he is here to compete for a STARTING spot :cooldude:

If there's any truth to him only just now being able to pass a physical, then I suppose I feel a little better about his signing...and he could very well be a starter if he is indeed fully rehabbed now. I just think it's hard to have your cake and eat it too. If he's fully rehabbed and able to make a significant contribution as a starter, then obviously he's been able to pass a physical for a long time now and still nobody signed him. If he's only just now gotten to where he can pass a physical, then he's not going to be ready to make a significant contribution for a while yet.

He maded sound as he had other offers but turned them down because he felt the teams didn't give him the opportunities the Dolphins did.

So then why were the Dolphins the only team willing to give him the opportunities that enticed him to sign?

The other teams were the Browns and the 49'ers.
