Gailey Losing Offensive Coordinator at Georgia Tech

"Miami has chosen Patrick Nix of Georgia Tech as its new offensive coordinator, a source close to Nix said Friday.
Nix has been offensive coordinator at Georgia Tech for the last three seasons, taking over playcalling responsibilities from Chan Gailey this year."

Does Nix know something we don't?
 
I'm not sure, but I think this news is relevant to University of Miami - not the Dolphins. Maybe I'm wrong though, I would be shocked if this is true!
 
i'd rather coach in miami too...i doubt it has anything to do with gailey.
 
Ahh, but therein lies the link to the Dolphins. Patrick Nix was a college teammate of Brent Fullwood, who once played for the Dolphins under Don Shula, who in turn is the father of Mike Shula, who once saw Fullwood in the locker room and said "hey, you're Brent Fullwood", etc., etc. etc.

Sorry to see this story moved. Dolphins fans have been seaching for clues regarding the Coaching search. This move at Georgia Tech could possible be one of those clues.

This is not "Miami Dolphins" related. This is "University Of Miami" related....
