When believed to be down to Gailey & Mora, there was a poll.
Well, now it looks to be down to Gailey & Cameron, so pick your preference.

Gailey. he may not be the sexy choice. but he actually was successful as a HEAD COACH in both the NFL and college, but of which cameron was not....

cameron has done a nice job with a bunch of great players in SD.

Cam Cameron!

Gailey has been average at best his whole career with offenses ranked in the mid to low twenties. No reason to think he would suddenly improve after 25 years of coaching. Cameron on the other hand has improved a 16th ranked offense into a 4th ranked offense and gone from 20th in scoring to 1st in scoring.

I was thinking just like you up until a couple of minutes ago. Then it hit me: we know what we have in Gailey and we haven't a clue as to we may have in Cameron. And while Cameron may be the worst decision this franchise has ever made, it may also be the best. I'm sick and tired of safe. Safe reminds me of "it's not a sin to punt" and that philosophy feels like it's been ingraved in the veins of this organization since before it was spoken.

Cam Cameron gets my vote.

im not sure how you can say we know what we have in Gailey and not in Cameron?

outside of Gailey's 2 decent years in Dallas, their the same. theyve both been successful OCs in the NFL. Cam with LT and Rivers/Brees. Gailey with Lamar Smith & Jay Fielder. Theyve both been in head coaches in college. Cameron was known as being a pretty bad coach at Indiana while Gailey has been good at GT gettin them to the gator bowl & ACC championship game this year with the likes of Reggie Ball at QB.

At this point I would love Cam and Haulk back together again..I think with his offensive mind and Caper's defensive mind, and we add a couple of players, we could be in business..plus it hurts one of the good teams in the afc.

Cameron = Charlie Weis

Gailey = Mike Mularkey

with Capers in tow, I would prefer the former

Gailey

I vote Gailey.

He is more proven.

Plus I think Culpepper would have a better chance of making it under him.

Look at how Cam did when he coached college football. He is no Weis in the Pros or in college.

Give me Gailey of the two, neither really excites me but I think Gailey is solid.

But we know without a single doubt that Gailey runs a conservative, boring, safe offense. He ran it in Dallas, here, and in Atlanta. We haven't the slightest idea on what Cameron may be capable of doing with Culpepper, Chambers, and Brown. While they are certainly no Brees/Rivers, Gates, or Tomlinson, they are not horrible either. We haven't the slightest idea because we have grown so use to such boring/safe offenses that our minds can't recollect what it was like to have a potent, shove it down your throat when ever we desire attack.

Aren't you tired of safe?
