First off. No injuries = awesome pre-season game!
Daunte Culpepper finished strong. Seems to be working out the kinks. He's throwing darts out there. I like it. Also, took a couple pretty good hits no problem.
Ronnie Brown missed one opportunity for a big gain, but other than that, he looked good. Strike that. He looked great.
Nice TD dive by Sammy Morris.
Joey Harrington continues to distance himself from the words "horrible" and "terrible." He needs to settle down out there, but his passes look sharp, and he's making a lot of plays. Does a good job of running the offense if you ask me.
Cleo Lemon wasn't as impressive as he was last week. But I still like him as our 3rd string QB.
Anderson and Hadnot made a few mistakes. But it is Pre-Season. I'm not worried. Yet.
Jason Rader got his chance to shine. Two very nice catches, but he dropped a sure-fire TD. Not sure if he helped or hurt his situation. But since Teyo Johnson and Keith Heinrich aren't making a lot of noise, looks like Rader could be the front runner for our 3rd TE.
Fred Gibson separated himself from Cliff Russell and Jason Willis. Devin Aromashodu is making a case for the practice squad.
Kay Jay Harris sort of disappeared. Either the coaches think they've seen enough, or have already relegated him to practice squad.
Remember all those posts about how our secondary needs to gel? Well, we're watching that process. There's definitely been some lapses. But I'm seeing them make a lot of plays out there, too. And the coaches are obviously giving a lot of different guys time to see what they got.
André Goodman continues to impress. Even had a tackle on special teams.
Yeremiah Bell didn't have a big game, but I'm not sure how much he played. He was solid, and certainly didn't make any mistakes. Same goes for Renaldo Hill.
Doesn't look like Jason Allen will start at CB. But he will be a great safety for us. I have no doubt. He is always around the ball, and makes more good plays than bad plays. It's just that his bad plays have been much more noticeable in these first 2 games.
Will Allen also had more good plays than bad.
How about Jack Hunt?! Obviously, this guy didn't get the memo that he has no chance of making the roster. Keep it up, buddy.
Unfortunately for Jack Hunt, Deke Cooper had a nice INT.
Good to finally see Derek Hagan getting in on the action, even though he dropped one. Nice grab by Marty Booker, too.
It was also good to see Crowder doing his thing.
Where is Matt Roth? Show me something, buddy.
Marcus Vick, you too, show me something.
Vickerson had a fumble recovery. Zgonina has a nice tackle for a loss.
Big Daddy obviously made a huge impression. He gets my game ball. Fred Evans had a monster game last week. Not so much this week. But he performed well considering the addition of Wilkinson. Very curious to see if we can carry both of these guys on the five three.
