Do you have any before pictures to compare?
 
I think the old helmet impaired his vision and that's why he wouldn't go through his progressions properly lol.
 
it does look like it was too small and his head was scrunched...i like the new one....it looks edgy...and johngarry...the helmet he was wearing is also a concussion preventing helmet...that was the evo(i think its called) that was brought out a few years ago....it probably is a little more updated than that one....pat white's helmet looks similar to henne's new one too...i like pat's as well
 
I knew there was something different about Chad Henne last night. I just couldn't figure out what it was. Hopefully this helmet won't be crunching his forehead and he'll have a little better peripheral vision. QBs pretty much need eyes in the back of their head when they're in the pocket with 300 lb. monsters running around.
 
You're telling me he played six games with his head scrunched like that and it was fixable? I just thought that was how his head normally fit into a football helmet (he looked like that at Michigan too.) I'm glad to see it's taken care of now.
 
They're both Riddell Revolution helmets, it's just that his new one is the updated model called the Revo Speed.
 
I just don't get the fascination for Henne's helmet. Maybe I am just getting old............
 
The other one was so small he couldn't buckle his chinstrap. No wonder he was scared of his helmet flying off.
 
Interesting.. I didn't even notice the helmet change. If it helps his vision and helps against concussions and big hits, I'm all for it.
