I know we have been successful running the ball the last few games. At some point, that may force teams to start taking that away, which should open the passing game back up. Maybe this is the week? Do we shift gears, and start driving the ball downfield more aggressively, regardless, because the Rams cannot defend the pass? It will be interesting to see what we do.

Los Angeles is the worst team in the NFL, allowing 8.5 yards per pass attempt.
Los Angeles is tied for sixth-worst in the NFL, with 15 passing touchdowns allowed.
Los Angeles has the ninth-worst opponent passer rating in the NFL.

Yeah ... but
The Rams started 3-6 last season but got hot and made the playoffs. And head coach Sean McVay is again leaning on a young roster, led by a league-high 16 rookies who have adjusted to NFL speed and are playing at a high level. First-year and second-year players have combined for 15 sacks defensively for the Rams, tops in the NFL.

The Fins should run the ball, unless they can't.

Take advantage of the Rams weak pass D AFTER you establish a rushing attack. IMO

Win, lose or draw the team should form a different ID and stick to it. The passing game should be the secret weapon not the identity.

OK, let's put our passing prowess on display!

Last 3 games, Rams opponents have scored over their avg. Meanwhile, stafford, all yr has 1 300yd game and their O has rushed for 100yds combined 1x. That said, IMO, this will come down to pass pro. Miami gets behind, it could be ugly.

Lol, you actually think Mcdummy game plans against teams weaknesses?!! Hahahahahahhahahahababhaha

We all knew (or should've known) the defense would take a while to get its footing. The hope was that the offense would be improved and be able to carry the load in the interim...but that didn't materialize in many games with Tua out, and the offense seems to be still getting footing of its own, though ahead of the defense there.

Could this be the week? Ramsey being a former Ram and all, that could help a little.

If the offense can do as well as it did the past few weeks, maybe even improve slightly on it, I think they have a shot. The defense has to show a little come-uppance themselves though.

Still pissed off Poyer let the Bills off the hook last week...Allen was creeping into INT mode and he saved his former team...that was the only game left this year I REALLY wanted to win, besides the Niners...I just have zero faith in McD and a win against the Rams would be nice, but in the end, doesn't really matter, personally.

Against the Bills we rushed 31 times. Tua attempted 28 passes and completed 25 which is approximately 89%. His QB rating was 124.9. Overall, balanced and very good. I would like to see us continue this approach. I believe it keeps our offense in rythum and takes some pressure off of our OL in pass pro while giving them a chance, for a change, to do some whoopin up on those defenders.

Lose with honour
Play just well enough to give fans hope

We running well but still losing. Why would other teams change their defense. Imo our passing game is better than our rush game. They just have 2 deep safeties almost all the time that's why it's difficult to throw deep. If they try a load the box to stop the run We will score more points going deep. Just my two cents.

How is their pass rush? How is their run D?

Could be even uglier if the Rams continue their sack parade.
