Garrard, Bush missing from practice

Miami Dolphins quarterback David Garrard is not in attendance at the team's OTA on Tuesday, but the quarterback told me there's no cause for concern.

I just spoke to him on the phone, and he said he had to stay in Jacksonville with his wife because of some home damage due to Tropical Storm Beryl, which hit the area over the weekend.

Running back Reggie Bush also is not in attendance at the voluntary workout, but a reason is not yet known why. Bush and Garrard have attended all previous workouts

Not to start anything, but Bush tweeted last night that "Vegas is the Devil". Have to wonder if he decided to blow off practice and head to Vegas.

I do remember reading in one of the reports from earlier that Bush had a minor injury during one of the practices, left for a while, and came back. Maybe they're just letting him take it easy?

Probably went to vegas for memorial day and was too hungover to go to practice.

Actually, as posted above in the article, Garrard is at his home in Jacksonville cleaning up damage to his home from the Tropical Storm. Nothing to joke about.

last season i think i read that reggie was pretty much the last one off the practice field every day, always trying to improve on the jugs machine and running extra sprints. he wants to lead the lead in rushing this year, he had his best season ever last season. i seriously doubt he is gonna slack off in the practice and working out department. next weeks media OTA that is public you'll prob hear about him staying over with les brown on blocking and egnew on the jugs machine......... just saying

He went to Vegas guys. If you want to believe it was for the parks and sightseeing then OK, but come on.

If he did not want to party, he would have NOT WENT TO VEGAS.
