Garrett Staying At Dallas

Now to Plan B for Baltimore. They were all set and ready for Garrett, and get left nothing but a waste of time out of it.

Wow. Hate to be Wade Phillips right now. 2008 is going to be a lame duck year for him unless he wins it all

You are correct according to ESPN. They will look to Jim Harbaugh now.

Yes, its all over Si and Espn.

He will make 3.5 to 4 million a year for 4 years to stay.

i think skip balis said this and i agree, Dallas is better off if Garrett was their head coach

I think Garrett gets too much credit. Teams are clearly catching onto him with the decline in production from the Dallas offense. Not too mention he had an array of pro bowlers to work with. How well would the Dallas offense worked without TO? Garrett has been an OC all of one year with what, two years total coaching experience? I just don't see what the fuss is all about.

yea he is getting alot of money but that was a stupid move on his part he should have taken a HC job

What teams would that be? Atlanta and Baltimore wanted to hire him.

Against the Redskins they put up less than 150 yards total offense and scored no td's. Against Philly they had 240 yards total offense but zero td's and 3 int's. It was apparent towards the end of the season when the Dallas offense was much less effective. They were saved by defense a few times. Don't get me wrong, Garrett deserves some credit. I'm just saying teams were catching on and maybe more credit for when they were successful should go towards the array of pro bowlers they had. IMO, Garrett needed to stay at Dallas and prove he's not a one year wonder.
