I don't think he's right about the QB thing. If Miami selects #1 I think they would take Leinart.
 
I think we'll have a mid round pick... I would just consider Leinhart out of the picture....just MO

I'm not discounting any possibilities. A key injury to our RB corp, or to one of our DL, and we could easily end up 4-12 again.

I think this only occurs if AJ doesn't show significant improvement this year. If he's on the right track we pick someone else..if Gus starts and AJ's deemed as trade bait, then we pick QB.
 
I hate that everytime Saban is mentioned, someone brings up Saban being a "Belichick disciple" or that he will "mirror New England". Just becasue they worked together (like twenty years ago) doesn't mean they're the same.
Look at Steve Mariucci, Andy reid, Jon Gruden, and Mike Sherman. They all worked under Holmgren in Green Bay and have gone on to run very different teams.

:confused:i dont see how we could easily go 4-12 if that happened, mayb 5-11 or 6-10 at the worst, i would think omre then one major injury would put us back at 4-12, i think the lowest pick we'll have next year will be #6 and thats the lowest

you dont see it? we did it last year.
 
I think we will be picking in the range of 12-17 in the 2006 draft. That is my realistic view, but I hope we pick much later in round 1. :wink:

it wasnt just one person, we had alot of players injured and were in a coaching mess, im talking about wiht the players and staff we have now that if we have one major player injured in one of those positions it wont happen again

Yeah, I can't read the whole thing either, except for the Nick Saban question.
