So, Gase has hinted to the fact that he's been simplifying the offense, but it seems like he's reached his limit. There's nowhere left to go at this point. If he can't get the team to play the offense right, then it's not a physical thing but mental...and the smartest guy on the offense is supposed to be the QB. Can Cutler not run our offense?

The problem with simplifying the offense is that it makes it simple to defend. I think Gase just needs to let it fly against ATL. What do we have to lose??? We're already 10.5 underdogs so open it up and maybe just maybe the offensive players will start having some fun and make some plays. It's better than watching us get 178 yards of offense against a defense that just allowed 57 points!!!
 
I agree, but I question why he's simplifying it. Can our team not handle something more complex? That's bad!
 
If gase has to simplify his offense then he needs to get rid of players that aren't smart enough to play this game at a high level.
 
This is one thing that seems to be an issue for our team going back a lot of years. We seem to find players who aren't exactly the brightest bulb on the tree. Would be nice to find more players who actually have some intelligence.
 
It's actually a very interesting question.
I do not believe this is a Cutler issue....

I think it is a consequence of them having to change the offense on the fly after Tanne went down.
That coupled with our absurd travel/hurricane has really hindered implementation.
 
There is 10 million reasons why Matt Moore is not the answer
 
This is like the anti Patriots way. NE just ditches players if they can't run the plays and finds guys who can, even if they are less talented.
 
Gase “The Guru” needs to own up and take responsibility for being a POS. His system is garbage. It’s not hard. You’ve called 6 WR screens per game and none have works. So, you stop calling that shlt. Your 2nd and long draws get blown up. So, stop callijg that shlt! Wtf is so difficult...wait, The Guru is a dumba$$ that is too fvcking stubborn to see that his shlt doesn’t work. After watching this shlt show, I have a new respect for Tanny. Tanny made Gase’s shlt work.
 
Cutler cannot be let loose, Gase knows this. He is doing the same exact thing he did with him in Chicago. Cutler did not have a season on fire that year, he simply threw less ints and a lot more dump offs/high percentage throws. Gase knows that Cutler WILL lose us games due to his decision making, he was brought here to manage the game not win it.

Gase is doing the best he can with a mentally-retired bum behind center. I think he needs to swallow his pride and let Moore spark the offense, the players actually believe in him. It's blatantly obvious the same cannot be said for Cutler.

Just a quick check. Were you spouting the same BS last season when we were rolling with an actual QB taking snaps?

Matt Cassel had a better game than Cutler! Look at the stats. A good coach adapts to the situation. We have a ton of talent on the field yet Gase forces Cutler onto us and the team. Moore is clearly the better option right now. Cutler is pure garbage that Gase wasted 10mill on. Gase should be FIRED!
